About the Author
A flight in the jump seat of an Airbus A320 inspired James to enroll in aviation at Seneca College. In 2001, he graduated with an Aviation and Flight Technology Diploma, his Commercial Pilot certification, and Multi-engine IFR rating. His initial flying position was as First Officer on an Air Ambulance in Thompson, Manitoba. James went on to become a Captain, and Training Captain on charter aircraft.
Today James is studying law at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He keeps current with developments in aviation and continues to fly recreationally. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing hockey, squash, golf, and attempting to play something that resembles music on his bass guitar.
